don't think mommy even cares about kyoko. she won't recognize her , different hair color and cut and she's older and taller. but i hope kyoko is able to stand up to her and hold her ground. hopefully ren will show up and back her.

Kyoko left home when she was 15, it wouldn't be more than two years, though it never said the last time she saw her mom.
Since her mother had been reading an article about Box R, I think she's keeping tabs on her, and if she's watched an episode, she knows very well that Kyoko's looks have been altered.
I reserve the right to believe she doesn't hate her daughter. Most (if not all) parents want their children to do/have better than what they had. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.
