Tbh this manga have nothing to do with it. It’s the obsessive yaoi fans that are the problem. If you can’t tell the difference between real life and fiction and is always shipping two males together that are simply friends then you’re the problem. You can’t just blame it on a book something that a lot of people do probably before this book even came out. And honestly this book is showing how most really obsessive yaoi fans act. You saying that those type of manga is the reason why the yaoi community is looked down upon is really and excuse my language, really dumb. The books aren’t the reason why the yaoi community is looked down upon it most of the people in the community that makes others hate the yaoi community. Because of the people in the community that ship irl people together and constantly trying to force that ship makes everyone else in the community look bad. That like saying the internet is the reason why the bullying rate is so high. When it’s not the internet fault it the people who uses the internet for horrible reasons fault. Basically what I’m saying is don’t blame the books, games, shows, or internet. Blame the people that caused it.
