Why would it matter if Hee Bum is gay instead of bi? Love has nothing to do with sex people. I would have thought people who read yaoi/shounen ai would understand that concept the most. There are many instances of mixed orientation marriages and at least one documented instance of the gay guy falling in love with the straight girl, FIRST. As an example closer to home, I am ace, however I could easily fall in love with a girl or guy and would consider having sex with them if that was a deal breaker...?
The ONE thing that would stop him is what you said in your first paragraph. Hee Bum seems to be confused by his feelings for her at the MOST. He may look like he's interested in her but at this time we all could just be making a simple mistake. I do love the way you put your thoughts in this paragraph. At least they aren't dismissive of Jumi as if she's somehow not an important part of the whole story like I've seen a couple of other people do just because they want the yaoi. Their responses were too freaking cliched for me to stomach.
Mmmmmmm there is something called romantic orientation, which is different from the sexual orientation and maybe is that what you are referring to. But when I said "Gay" I meant "Homoromantic". Maybe I have expressed myself bad, cause I also believe that love has nothing to do with sex, but I also believe that a person can be heteromantic or homoromantic, sexuality is a expectrum of course, but as there are people in the middle or between the extremes of that expectrum there are also people in the extremes.
