why japanese manga always get rating below 9?
It's mostly because they're hard to read for people with eye conditions
I have a quite severe astigmatism and I'm farsighted (I use 2 pairs of glasses for different tasks)
I'm also a digital artist and photo editor so my eyes are pretty much always tired
Usually, if I want to read a b&w manga, I'm gonna need to gather all my energy to do so

My eyes are also bad lmao.. Although I'm nearsighted Manga puts a lot of strain on my eyes because I read on my phone the texts are too small. Well at this point I'm fcked both seeing far and near hahaha. But I can't stop reading.. Plus I have a bit of glaucoma so the eye pressure is so bad and I find that it hurts a lot after reading manga.. So I try to stay away but I do read them once in awhile just not often anymore. I miss the days when I read so so many mangas! I remember asking for a webtoon layout manga a few days ago explaining why I want it in webtoon layout and oh boy! it got some thumbs down darn people would only understand when they have our eyes.. they'll probably get there if they're also a crazy reader

I just read the story and i love it so much T^T this story deserve at least 9.5 rating. I love how dedicated and persistent the seme was.
I don't give manga low ratings unless they're trash stories.
Also I think most of the low rated mangas have rape so maybe that's why the rating is low?? I find that most Japanese Manga have rape and they kind of not even think much of it anymore. It seems so common to see rape on Manga it's been that way since I started reading yaoi Manga in 2010.. I was young then so I didn't think much of it but now I've seen so many better stories without rape so anytime I see rape I kind of just not rate those 5 stars since I don't think Rape as a start of Relationship makes a good story at all.
