Very one dimensional plot with surface level characters. Moody rich main guy is shitty to everyone else except for the main girl. Main girl, who has basically no flaws and good at everything, yet is a pushover and way too nice and forgiving for her own good. All the women, save for a few, in this manhua, especially her rivals, have a shitty personality with no depth to them. No redemption arc. The need for such characters to make the main female look good shows lack of quality writing. Honestly, this manhua is such an insult to women. Majority of women don’t act like backstabbing, conniving, and self-centered bitches so can we stop making it such a cliche in manhuas? Thanks.
Like many other people, I also was irritated at the fact the main character usually cried at everything. But that doesn't mean that this isn't a good book. I really love how the author knows the main character's flaws (being a crybaby) and she even adresses it in the manga. (One of the other characters tells Chiwa that she hates people that cry too much) We are not supposed like every main character, because they too have their own flaws. The author knew what she was doing. And although, Chiwa is still a crybaby, she becomes more mature and dynamic throughout the manga. I really like this book. Would read it again. :)
If your kids think that it’s a luxury to not own tattered clothes, then it might be a good idea to stop having more children. Smh.
