I’m from a strict christian family as well and I was only taught that having a relationship at a young age is like committing adultery or sin to the partner God truly wants you to have in the future. uh, of course. if you think supporting homosexuality is a sin then so is eating pork, eating meat and cheese, wearing clothes made of more than one kind of cloth and getting tattoos. the most devout christians have been doing all those things for hundreds of years, so i’m sure you’re completely fine! modern society (Christianity) has just decided to ‘pick and choose’ what is ‘more’ sinful but scripture-wise, you’re doing a hell of a lot better than many Christians out there. so don’t feel guilty at all :)

I'm a Christian , and when i first got into yaoi, i was about 15-16.Though it's not something i can brag about i don't really consider it as sin. But as time goes on, i feel like it's a sin and i try to stop reading it. But it's my escape from reality so it's hard to let it go.

I know im like super late but im also a Christian and I’ve been trying to get closer to god but I also feel like yaoi might be something I need to let go of to do that...but instead I just skip the sexual scenes. The story lines are still amazing and great and I still love yaoi but I feel this guilt in my body so I just try not to pay much attention to the sexual scenes. Since I’ve started reading like that I dont feel any guilt because I feel like if it is a sin its not a sin its self but the actions make it a sin, if that makes sense. Please don’t bash me for this its just an alternate way that I use to not feel guilty but still enjoy something I love, not saying that if you read the sexual scenes you are in the wrong because everyone has different ways they feel about things, much love
