okay, hear me out, i'm not disregarding what the duke did in the past, but I have forgiven him (even tho I'm not the FL lmao dhjas). For me I see the duke like any other FLs who returned back in the past to be better or to get revenge, he's making up for his mistake and maybe he's trying to get back to the FL's father for what he did in the past. I'm not saying that all of u should forgive him, but you do you.
Anyways, I just hope that they'll still be a happy family until the end, I know some of u doesn't want the duke, but it's pretty clear that they will still end up w each other in the end. and I also hope he can protect the FL and his son now.

I still haven’t forgiven him. He might’ve sufferred a little in the end but he’s still hurt both his wife and son to death (for his wife’s case). He needs to atone by giving her a better life and right now I only see him doing the bare minimum still even if he’s trying more. He hasn’t given her the affection she deserves nor the recognition as a duchess. So far I’ve only seen him giving her whatever she asks for and leaving it to her to deal with the messes like with the servants and he’s just staying at a distance. When he starts acting more like a husband then I’ll forgive him.
And the incident with the father, no husband in their right minds would’ve accepted that in the first place so the fact that he stopped doing what that crazy fool wanted was just obvious for any sane person.
