Am I the only one who wants the FL to die? Like she gets the disease, the father and son tries to find the cure. They travel to some land and actually finds one but miss girl is dead and they kinda regret not cherishing her longer. The son regrets not telling his mother that he actually loves him a lot and the fathef regrets not clearing misunderstandings and that's the end.

Why should the son live in regret? He was neglected from the moment of his birth by his mother and no matter the reason for his mother acting like that, he was still neglected. His mother doesn't "deserve" his forgiveness. He can forgive her when he is ready, if he is ever ready.
As for husband, i don't really care one way or another.
