The romance is sooo not forced!! (⌒▽⌒) I think this is the only action manhwa's that did well on romance. The chemistry is and will always be there. It was so not rushed and it felt really real like Raviel still kept her personality even after falling in love with Gongja. Which is, by the way, so overlooked in romance manhwas. The fl just reduces into a "lover of the male character" and has no personality at all. I just loved everything about their relationship. ESPECIALLY WHEN RAVIEL BOWED TO THE RED HAIRED GHOST DUDE. Like she has so much respect to Gongja's 'home' and doesn't question anything about them. LASTLY, CAN I TALK ABOUT THE ART???? LIKE HOLY SHITTTヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ I loved how everything was consistent until the very end. Manhwas that have long chapter often have tiny missing details but, this one didnt. Raviel still looked like Raviel until the end and SHE HAS SUCH DISTINCT FEATURES??? Like I can tell who she is even if I saw from across the city. The PENCIL DRAWN ART IN THE END REALLY TIED EVERYTHING TOGETHER. This is getting super long and I HOPE THEY DONT SEPARATE OR DIE PLEASE. I ACTUALLY WILL NOT RECOVER. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
EXACTLY !!! the author wrote the women here SOOOO well and did not use them for just another plot device. i love raviel sm and theyre such a badass couple.
there's also the way they offered a redemption arc to the pick me girlie (lady goldencup? or sumn) and did not take an absolute moralist standpoint on her story, bc i just know other manhwas would have done so. it was refreshing to see what this story did for a character like her; that they did not punish her for simply being written the way she was written in the story. it further justifies the agency of raviel and the butler in the story bc the agency is not exclusive to them, but also to the antagonist (or the og protagonist).
Why is it so fast paced? And why tf is everyone suddenly dying. Like aunt Sejin’s clan was THE most strongest military force and they were wiped out just like that? Idk why but, it feels so rushed and the deaths were just thrown around like okay
