I felt like the whole story was perfect. The pacing, the ending… All the pieces of the puzzle are there; you just need to do a little pondering to put it all together.

It looks like the two main characters have some sort of psychic powers that awakened when they were children. These powers manifest as a sort of split personality that lives in mirrors and hands that come out of mirrors, and they seem to appear in times of high emotion. While Yeonwoo spent his childhood and young adulthood embracing and mastering his powers and openly talking to and bonding with his “malice” side in the mirror, Jun was afraid and tried to forget and ignored his.

It seems like Yeonwoo and Jun killed Yeonwoo’s parents with their powers combined, which is why their reflects told them that together they’re powerful and they shouldn’t split apart. Yeonwoo embraced the darkness and this “truth” that he needed to kill others to be happy. Jun tried to suppress it all. I think he inadvertently killed that random dude on the street when he was feeling emotional and had a headache. But whenever he’s emotional, we hear that tapping; it’s his powers manifesting but he can’t control it yet like Yeonwoo can.

By the end, Jun still believes in the good in some people but he’s definitely too far gone; he’s given up his morals and everything to be with Yeonwoo. They’re both pretty nuts lol.

Yeonwoo probably arranged that party at the end for multiple reasons. He wanted to remove all the ties that Jun had to his prior life so he could have him all to himself. And he believes that people need to die so they can achieve their personal paradise. And like the night that they killed Yeonwoo’s parents, they killed Jun’s friends with their powers combined.

I THINK they have different powers, but I don’t have enough evidence to back this up… But I think Yeonwoo controls the spooky hands and can tear people apart and pull their remains into the mirrors, and Jun can make people explode into pulp.

Where did their powers come from? That’s open-ended but it doesn’t really matter. Everything you need to know to understand the story and the characters is there. Maybe it felt more cohesive to me as someone who discovered it when it was already complete and binge-read the whole thing at once.

Anyway this was really fucking hot, A+ fap material, 10/10 lol
