ok ok ok but just imagine... ten seconds after the father giving her this.. she says "I also have a present for you Father"
Then she takes the cross bow, loads it and BAM shoots him right in the face! Then when he starts to yell, BAM his memory is erased and it's like it never happened. Perfect Revenge. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Jk Jk... unless?
When MC asked Max what he and her father talked about, and it showed the dad bragging to him, Max just looks so done with MC's father bragging about her to him (≧∀≦)
Also, really no one is to blame except for the emperor. The father is trying to protect her from the emperor, and has trouble communicating. That's not a crime. From his and Max's POV we know that he genuinely loves his daughter and wants to protect her. At the same time, MC has only ever seem her being cold to her and the story from her old life only ever showed him being cold to his daughter, so it's understandable that she thinks he hates her. As well, I'd say it was pretty reasonable to think that he wanted her to marry Max given that his name was circled out of all of the names on the list. Yes, she jumped to conclusions but I can see why.
I think, that instead of bashing MC and her Dad, we should all band together and hate on the Emperor and Mikhail, because screw those guys !! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Off topic question, but I was just re reading the chapters with Chloe's parents, and in one of the old Chloe's memories, she wanted to study but was told she couldn't, and in that scene there was a boy who looked like the male version of Chloe being taken away to study. Was that he brother or something?? Did I somehow manage to completely miss the fact that Chloe has a sibling, or is he not going to show up in the story? Or am I just completely wrong and that was just some random kid? I don't know...╥﹏╥
I've got mixed feelings about the ending, but it was still good in my books.
One thing I wish this had is more about their son, and their struggles raising him. I would've liked reading about that time as opposed to skipping over it.
On the other hand, although it got a bit rushed, I'm glad the author didn't drag their romance on and on with petty troubles that could be fixed in like 2 minutes, etc. because then I probably would've gotten bored of it. So I'm glad that the author progressed their romance at a good pace, that kept the story interesting.
All in all, I really enjoyed reading this!
The Brother legit be like " I'll go and heal her BrOkEn HeArT"
First off, the fvck you mean broken heart?!? Char is having a freaking fantastic time manipulating everyone!
Secondly, even if her heart was broken, the fvck is he thinking he can do to fix it? Slap some super glue on it and call it a day?? Because that's all it seems he's able to comprehend doing given the fact that all the men in Char's family seem to have the emotional range of a teaspoon!! (yes I did just make a HP reference ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭)
I can't wait for Char to fvck him up!!

I feel like a lot of people are forgetting that while Art's body is twelve, his mind is much much older, considering how he used to be a KING! It's less weird if you keep that in mind when Arthur is being all romantic ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Also, I'm loving this a lot! I can't wait for the day Arthur gets revenge!
