For a work of fiction this is shockingly realistic, not only in portraying how people react and cope to trauma differently no matter how similar said trauma was but also how it overall affects their relationships with others especially when both involved trauma with the opposite sex at a young age including the certain development if their love maps in Takanos case coming to basically resent/hate women but also has a typical mindset of someone of his age ie being attracted to beauty and looks but because of his resentment he finds it in men where as Aoi loves women to the point where he wants to not nessicerally be one but walk in there shoes its overall very psychologically accurate in the ways it develops and portrays Takano and Aoi
