From what I understood of the novel, MC isn't the OG Illyana. Like she has her body but the soul is different. They aren't even a reincarnated version of the OG villainess, just someone who got misplaced after the real Illyana got lost from dreamwalking so far away and couldn't find her way back to her body.
OG!Illyana isn't completely human, she's half demon as well from her father's side, hence the ability.
So really, she' suffering the consequences of what the real villainess did to the ML despite not being the one to have done it at all, and the reason she is letting him get away with 'taming' her and all the torture she's gonna go through is a mixture of fear and misplaced guilt (that if the body she is in didn't hurt him, he wouldn't turn out the way he did). Plus, she thought once he feels like he gets his revenge, he'll get tired of her as well.

ngl im kinda confused about Jueon i can’t tell if he actually likes her or not bc in some of the flashbacks it seems like he likes her but is also using her and then he rejects her? bc in that one panel of her crying barely dressed and him saying “i think of you as…” then it gets cut off
ew the whole intentionally making her jealous with the women you know she hates just bc you like how she gets mad and then calling it “pure love” is definitely not for me
wish we could’ve seen more of Sora and Yato like we had more chapters of her and Ja Hyun and he’s not even the ml ☠

This is one of those story's that would be amazing if she didn't end up with anyone not because the ml is bad but because i’m inlove with her personality and she’s so strong that it would be satisfying for it to just end with her becoming emperor. Idk im just not feeling the connection between ml and fl
