The run away saga was longer in the novel, but it was quite well-executed in the reduced format of the manga.
The key differences are:
- It wasn't Hyoseop who left after their night, it was Andante who had to go to the US to deal with some things. Hyoseop woke up alone.
- I didn't see Andante wonder if Hyoseop knew that Ano was his brother. It's said that people knew, but they eventually had to hide it bc of gossip. But Andante does wonder if Hyoseop knows, but decides he does.
- Hyoseop's relationship with the Old Man is quite cute. I wish they had developed more on that, the Old Man is such a nice character. I think we had like, 10 chapters of their interactions.
- BTW, Hyoseop is gone for around a whole month before Andante finds him.

- Btw, there are also two very relevant interactions between Hyoseop and the new guide that makes him misunderstand things even more. Those flowers, for example, he thought were for her.
- I didn't see it properly explained, but there was an inner monologue of Hyoseop wondering why Andante would give him something of his old lover, and that makes him even more insecure in their relationship.

I am so annoyed by Ian and Lucy plotline. They already had their story, I am here for Lily and Jess. I don't have half a fuck to give to the other couple. I wish the author would make a second season to the other manga if they want to give them more plot.

Lily and Jess already got together. Their love story is basically complete. There no actual development left. Now it’s just everyday events in their lives. The two stories are set in the same universe and lily and jess are a SPIN OFF of the main story. Ian and Lucy aren’t stealing anything. They’re sharing the story and if anything, Lucy and Ian are the original characters lmao.
Since yall started reading this story, yall need to realize that this is PART of safari game it’s not the other way around. Yall chose to read this same universe and are shocked that the main characters are in this spin off lmfao. It is simply not that deep and you can simply skim Lucy and Ian’s part. Lily and Jess are part of Lucy and Ian’s family now. They’re bound to be intertwined.
-
And also since yall might not get it, Lucy and Ian’s development may hint to how Jess may also end up. Seeing as Ian wasn’t even an omega in safari game but changed into one here. So it’s possible that may happen to Jess one day.

Calm down, this comment is my feelings, not a personal offense to you.
They are set in the same universe, but they are not the same story. It's fine for them to show up as guest appearances, but I don't want more plot with them.
We've already seen their story, what more is there to it? We could have had that pregnancy plot with Jess and Lily instead. And you know what? I'd like to read their everyday life more than I'd like more plot about Ian and Lucy.
You disagree and like what you're reading then fine, go and be happy, your comment won't change how I feel about it.
Wait a whole year, and it's gonna be rated +15 this author is testing my anxiety
