To tell the truth, I think Delia is okay, but really, maid would Be so much more fun!!
On a different matter, the first girl he liked, she s suuuch a bitch, gosh, I hate her, hurting him !like that, then begging him to save the guilty family and then she always thinks, oh , he didnt even look at me, of course he didnt!! If I werehim, I wouldnt have helped you and left you to die or whatever

I think maybe the Author is trying to torture us with lovable characters (￣∇￣") . But ONE wish that I would TRUELY ヾ(☆▽☆) like is for the maid to come back and work for Linley as head maid so that we can see her EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER ( well maybe not every but you know what I mean ) I'm actually fine with Delia marrying Linley shes cool ( a little plain though * I said a LITTLE*).
Though I was very, VERY disappointed to find out Linley and the maid was not getting together, but I get what you're saying about Linley's first love interest, however I think she may have some goo-........... you know what never mind what I said, I take it all back about how that girl may have some good qualities, I mean it was ALREADY meant to be that they won't get together anyway so there is no need to talk about her anymore, UNLESS she pops out somewhere again then, YES ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Like, he met her, saved her, brought her back home, and was already in love, even thought they didn't even seem to talk a lot...
And then, he went back to see her, they created a secret place, and were then going out...

Yep, I too thought so and was also confused. I had first believed that Linley was in love with Delia, I thought he wasn't true to love and just someone who just falls in love but ends it kinda guy, until I saw that he was severely heartbroken when he found out that the girl kinda a little CHEATED on poor Linley, AND getting married too with the man And inviting Linley to their wedding and how many "AND'S" do I have to put to simplify that we should just forget about 'ALICE' ugh can't believe I used her name .That's how I knew he was true to love and that he wasn't really in love with Delia but was just like a Friend-zone kinda like and since he's a boy of COURSE he would act kinda awkward towards Delia. However, once I saw the maid, my love ship went total haywire I immediately began thinking,
" they'll look so cute together, I hope that they get together and have two or three children (๑•ㅂ•)و✧, she is so clumsy yet faithful to Linley, she's also ADORABLE in that maid outfit, I mean LOOK at that cute hair style ! author PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE LET THEM GET MARRIED I DON'T CAREEEEEEE ABOUT DELIA ANYMORE JUST PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE （/TДT)/ , AND WHEN WILL WE KNOW THE MAIDS NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME UGH ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ so tired of calling her 'THE MAID'." yep great shipping memories I've ever had. But that's all over now, Linley and Delia are destined to be together until death (〜￣△￣)〜 and Blah Blah Bleh, well I guess I'll get used to it Sigh #－.－)

Ah, that s right we don't even know her name!! That kinda sucks... BTW, I thought that linley was a bit harsh with his staff, like he wasn't friendly...
And I didn't use the first girl s name cause I had completely forgotten about it...

I know I was kinda expecting him to at least be nice to the staff and not like some "JERK", and very rude and he wasn't paying attention to how nervous they were being. Though the maid was different and kept on showing up which made me want to cheer her on if she'll ever become better at her job. And I could tell that Linley was becoming softer on her (like those shoujo mangas where the hero slowly gets used to that ditzy,naive girl) and trusted her more, like the time when he had an assassination plan with uncle Ceasar against king what's his name.... OH Clayde and the maid had appeared out of nowhere and even though she was completely obviously terrified she still kept her cool (I think, but it was still admirable). And I think I now why Linley was acting the way he was towards the staff, it was probably because clayde is his enemy and he basically can't get to close with the staff so that they won't know any of his secrets and go leaking out information. And that maid, NO that noble partner, ally, FRIEND (GIRL-friend (づ￣ ³￣)づ yuh get meh) she is on my top list of lovable characters and I'm gonna cherish her FOUR ever ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ .

For A moment I thought, nobleness went to his head and he s acting like a jerk.
But I was surprised that he showed them his dragon form thought it s supposed to be a secret so I was like, so he trusts them!
And I was surprised she kept showing up thought she was obviously scared...

Well when it comes to characters like Linley trust is the key to becoming his comrade, even if he may be acting cold to the staff he may actually trust them (a little) but unlike the maid the other staff haven't been popping out of nowhere for Linley to become as soft to them as he is with the maid. And if Linley had become at least a little kind to the staff then they would have thought "huh, master Linley isn't as mean as we thought". I would have definetly loved that, but I couldn't get it┗( T﹏T )┛sigh

Yeah. Cause the whole killing-the-guy-didnt-work-and-got-sent-to-prison-stuff happened...

Just forget about the maid, she is just a nobody after the apocalypse came.
Because she will never appear again in the story.
