He kept his feelings a secret tho cuz if people realize that she gained his favor, it will be like an opportunity for the grand duke to gain support and more connection. He considered their child, Ian, as a mistake not becuz he hates him. Since Ian is a boy and already a potential heir, the grand duchy gained more support so basically his purpose for avoiding fake Veronica and not confessing his feelings was deemed useless.
Also, it seems like in the first timeline, he killed the real Veronica after the fake Veronica died and protected their baby.

I saw the raws for chapter 4-7. Based on what I saw, the seme was raped when he was a kid. He opened up with the uke about his past. I don't know what happened but when the seme was a kid, I think he got kidnapped? Because he was alone in a room and his mouth was covered in tape then a man suddenly came in then starts to rape him. Along with this chapters, the uke was raped / gangraped by some guys because I think he was blackmailed because one of them took picture of the uke and his brother kissing inside a car. The seme saw this and hugged the uke then the brother came in and he was very angry. The seme jumped off of the window and started to punch the rapists. (The rapists ran off. ) The uke chose the seme (black haired guy) and it seems like the brother accepted it.
