The birds were honestly kinda off, but I think it's because most of the implications was lost in cultural differences and the translation work

Anything Yamamoto Kotetsuko-sensei's work is worth reading tbh.
It's worth reading but not as good as Honto Yajuu. Their relationship is sweet but they're personalities/characters are a little less developed imo
