Lee won has got to be the most considerate person ever. Or he is really pragmatic. Like…. Spoiler warning…
He gets shot and he is worrying about what kind of environment caesar grew up in to make him do that. I c their connection tho. I dont really see the Stockholm syndrome bc i think lee won as a character would never let himself be kept by anyone and even if he went along with caesar, he did it bc he wanted to, not bc he was physically unable to escape or had fallen for caesar tricks. They are more open about their feeling than the greenest friends to lover stories out there. Lee won is willing to put up with caesar and coax him to understand his “normalness” while caesar wis willing to change for him. Their connection. The only thing that i feel like i gotta read the novel for or something is how weird caesar sex drive is. Idk what up with. I def felt like i was missing a lot of context but it felt the most alien when caesar is going at it for days and does it with 20 people at time. Like why? I dont understand the point of this plot device in the grand scheme of things. I get he values it but also he doesnt, it drives their relationship but also strains it. I dont get. I feel like he could have been normal at least in that aspect. This turned ranty

Do you guys know any other manga/hwa with similar art? Like kinda matt, pretty eyes, good eyebrows, flowy hair, proportionate bodies? I stayed bc they were too pretty to pass up. I feel like this style is familiar but i cant figure out if it bc i see it a lot or read something with a similar style before.

Hyunwoo fucked up but the way his parent treated, esp his dad, i feel bad, but not sympathetic at all to the dad. Selfish ppl like him scare me. Also, he prob not the real dad, considering she gave birth earlier. As fucked as it is, i wanna know, i feel like this might be one of those stories that just go deeper and deeper into shitland and the ending is either one if them dies and the other loses their mind or both their life just get fucked. This cant be saved, if thats proven wrong, no its not.

I get what you’re trying to say, but births aren’t always as punctual as you’re making them out to be. If it turns out that Hyunwoo is not his son, that’s fine. However, if he is, he would have been considered a preemie baby with a 100% survival rate (obviously).
Some women have given birth at just 22 and even 20 weeks, although the survival rate for the tiny and frail babies is low (but not zero). For the opposite end, it’s not horribly unusual for a mother to go past 40 weeks, although the longer the time ticks on, the more dangerous it is for her.
Also, most women don’t even give birth at exactly nine months anyway. So, with Hyunwoo being born four weeks early, it means almost nothing to me. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Anyway, I’m not upset or anything. I just wanted to explain the other side of the coin.

I get you. The fact that pregnancies range is common knowledge. But thats not the point im making, as a story it makes sense that the only reason they emphasize that she went into labor unexpectedly but also quickly glaze over it is if it was gonna be used as a plot device somehow. Whether he is or isnt his son is what im questioning, not the legitimacy of a 36 week gestation. I am aware of how pregnancies and development works, i never made a point of pregnancies being punctual, just pointing out possibilities. He very well could be a preemie, but he could be full term/ late/ early and she lied. Just to clarify, i meant she could have lied about how far along she was because it was before her and the MC got together. U get me? Not trying to sound any sorta way, but its annoying when someone misses the entire point and tries to explain something completely unnecessary. Its like mansplaining (dont misconstrue this as me assuming ur gender. I have to explain myself bc ik u get confused. I meant how it makes me feel. It makes me feel the same as when a man explains something that i didnt need explaining. U get me? ). This convo wouldnt have started if u had not questioned my common sense and dug a bit deeper into what i was saying maybe. Sorry, this comes off rude and it really is not that big a deal, but u annoyed me.

Well, I think you just took it in a bad way. I mean, you sure made it sound like you didn’t understand pregnancies, so I’m sorry for assuming you didn’t. And like I said (and you probably missed that in the beginning of my reply), I agreed with you that Hyunwoo might not be his kid. So no, I didn’t misunderstand you or “mansplain.” I was just trying to be helpful since it didn’t seem like you understood (or maybe even forgot) said common knowledge.
The story didn’t “glaze over” anything, in my opinion. It was a plot point to show that the dad is a selfish, self-serving piece of shit that couldn’t even pretend to care about his wife. It was very clear to me that the author/artist was portraying the character in that way since he not only lied about his recital being changed and was golfing outside the country (trying to butter up executives related to more piano recitals, I believe) instead of being nearby in case his wife needed him.
Hyunwoo being born early caught his dad in the act of being an asshole, which I’m pretty sure made people fully aware of his true self. The wife already seemed to know, but she used that to her advantage since his reputation was already bottoming out when he got caught (and yet he was still begging for more time in the spotlight).
(Again, not “mansplaining,” just clarifying my point of view about the situation. Please don’t take it personally that I write long replies. I like writing.)

Oh, and I’m just going to say that I responded to you before reading the newest chapters! And while you were right that Hyunwoo is not the old bastard’s child (and I agreed that was a possibility), there sure was a twist in that reveal.
Man, what a complex, emotional, and twisted story this is… Amazing, honestly.
Lack of communication is abysmal.
