Okay I might have to explain this a bit, we were in Mcdonald and my crush was there and his friends, one of his friends was messing with us and she yelled "Tell your boyfriend to knock it off" it was soo embarrassing we just left. So my crush asked his friends what was all that about, and one of his (which is friends with me) told him oh you see that tall Muslim girl she has a crush on you. At first, I was really mad but I know they weren't deliberately trying to expose me.

I am a Junior in high school I am 16 years old. It's not like I know that I have a crush on him but it's not loved as I barely even know the guy. I am a pretty religious girl and I probably won't do much about it. I just want to know if I can at least be friends with him and how to approach him.

Okay, here's my advice, yes tell him. But also say that you don't want or need a relationship, you're perfectly happy with being his friend, so you just wanted to let him know that. Then it's his choice to tell you how he feels without being pressured into feeling like he'd hurt you or he has to date you. And you never know he might like you too or start developing feelings after being friends for a while. I met my fiancé sophomore year of high school and we started off as just friends :)
