(Well less likely)maybe it has something to do with his Mother- or the fact that the prince screams at night because of his trauma (like just a theory here but, maybe Rose found Lucio having traumas and Rose comforted him and maybe that's why Lucio fell inlove with her- so i basically see him as someone who craves affection.
