What I'm really pissed off about Jiyeon is the fact that she's kinda shallow. She's been friends with her (and him too) for years, and she didn't even see Hosu as a romantic interest until now. Anyway, she has been friends with her for far too long to prioritize romance over friendship. Is she just going to let romance break her friendship with Yeoul? It may not look like much rn, but this can ruin friendship.
And it's not like it's entirely Yeoul's fault. They both have their faults. That's why there's character growth/development. Yeoul just didn't want her to hurt, even if it is wrongly portrayed or she took the wrong actions, she still had the best in mind for her friend.
And about the secrets, not everyone shares their secrets to their BFFs. They're called a secret for a reason. Sometimes people grow stronger by battling their emotions by themselves. It's not like she's obligated to tell her everything. Some things just gotta be battled alone.

But honestly, if she did, the main theme the story is going for wil be gone HAHAHAHAHA Anyway, we have different kinds of personalities. Like for example, you and Jiyeon will react like that if you realize a friend likes you. But some people react differently than others, as we have different personalities. Like Yeoul too, she reacted like that when she was confessed to. Kind of like a tsundere for a bit lol. Personally if I know that a friend likes me I will reject them straightly. I'm not really hung up on romance, cause I have no need for them lol. I'm not interested nor will I change my ways for a boyfriend.
