6 chapters in and I absolutely hate the ML. Let's see..
"You are much too sensitive" - You threatened her in a forest, you tried to lift up her skirt/grab her leg.
Asks her to dance. She declines. Ignores that and asks again. (Me: Oh is this going to be a sweet scene where he holds her up so she doesn't to put weight on that leg?) ... no it leads into:
Takes away her cane. Forces her to walk on her injured leg (she's shaking/in pain) all the way outside into the gardens.
'I gave you and your sister access to the hottest ball of the season' -- is apparently an equal reward to housing an entire army from an enemy army.
'Why are you begging me on your knees like that, what's changed?' -- 3 years you twat. Also being in a position of power? You're a goddamn duke. She's a viscount family (that's 4 levels below you). Her family is in crushing debt. One word from you and you could destroy them utterly. .. and yet you're saying it's her fault.
I hate him. And I hate the fact that she's going to fall in love with him in the future completely ignoring his past actions.
