Only thing... I'm at the mental ability to tell you is that: Yes, that r@pist white turd, gets blown to pieces but by suicide bombing by Zheng Dao. Father of the girl, Ruo was helping out.
Zheng Dao killed Ruo brutally stabbing him, as he was red in rage, and he regretted it. And, After Cheng and Lan got to know this, I can say... you'll cry out in that part, where Cheng breaks and says, "I miss him...I miss him so much!"
We know from the first chapter that Cheng and Lan had feelings for Ruo. Lan was his brother so he didn't ever act on it. On the other hand, Ruo was quite boyfriend like with Cheng. Next time Cheng came, he was gonna confess that's what he messaged Ruo. Before everything destroyed.
Lan was only chasing Ruo to apologise for deciding to leave studies, then he was devastated and permanently wounded by the way Ruo cried all bloodied. He wanted to avenge him, but since he loved his brother, he decided to let the law handle it. But in the end, He chose Zheng Dao to end it all. Helping him out. Coz, he knew, Dao was killing for a reason, his beautiful kind daughter was raped for fun, then rapist was roaming around raping more women. You can see the reason very well, and that's why, Lan decided to help him.
However, The artist changed later. And the story progresses more, We can see Lan and Cheng are bonding well, to the point where Cheng is quite overprotective. Cheng didn't move on from loving Ruo. He still loved Ruo. Lan, always loved Ruo..as a little brother and as a man, so you can say, both bonded over the loss of their beloved.
There's a Lesbian story too... you'll probably hate it since the girl, literary kidnapped Lan, tortured him, and made him in a condition of half ded. Another is, we know Qingqing and Tian tian... let's say they are a couple like Tamen de Gushi the vibes r quite fluffy...and others are just cases. Lan helping them.
So...yeah, I said a lot. Read this beautiful masterpiece but remember to never forget that whatever happened here, keeps on happening in reality, as Rapists are rich people controlling the society, criminals are those politicians who use their name for commission of crimes...and ukwim.
