‘Childhood friends to lovers’ is my fav ship dynamic, but I don’t really like how Takeo accepted Wakou’s feelings out of curiosity. If things went bad he would definitely compromise their relationship. Moreover in the main story Takeo called Wakou after being indirectly rejected by Ao and I don’t want baby Wakou to be used as a rebound just because he couldn’t have another person.

I’m waiting for further developments (*cough* for drama *cough*) and I’m totally looking forward to see Takeo being jealous and the smut.

Btw I’m a huge fan of age gap romances and these two are so cute... moreover this manga shows that angst is not necessary to write a good work: in the end it really warmed my heart, I’m glad I read it ^^

Now I’m absolutely gonna check the author’s other works!!

I loved how their relationship evolved in such a natural way: I really liked following their journey towards the acknowledgment of their own feelings for each other.
I actually felt like I was intruding in two real people’s lives, the author did a very good job in portraying a realistic relationship between two cute and naive high schoolers <3

Jigoo and Juhyun are so soft and they called me “single” in a thousand languages lol.
I’m totally in love with the ‘childhood friends to lovers’ concept.
The story is very simple and has not any surprising plot twists, but this is also what makes it so good: it feels like the author is telling us about an actual love story.

P.S. wHY THE F*CK IS THERE A BJ ALEX REFERENCE I’M SCREAMINGHAHAH

I’m madly in love with Heejae (such a sassy cutie!) and the story was full of plot twists, but I would’ve liked some extra chapters to better explain some situations like:
• the dynamic of Heejae’s memory loss (the whole thing about his brother pushing him and him beating his head should have been explored more).
• I WANT TO SEE THE MOTHERF*CKING BROTHER DYING IN JAIL!!!!!!
• THE SIDE COUPLEI was expecting some amazing developments as for the main one but I got nothing instead and I’m heartbroken (ToT)

Since the uke kept taking the seme for granted, I would have LOVED if another character had entered the story, had flirted with the seme and had made the uke question his own choices and reflect about the duties you have towards a lover when you’re in a relationship. I think the author focused too much on the uke and his past but didn’t really care about showing us the seme’s story and development.

P.S. that d*ck of a best friend needs a love interest, I would have liked to see that too.

I don’t really understand why they keep having sex but don’t really talk with each other about important stuff. I can say that in their relationship that’s too much sex but too less communication.

I pretty much empathised with the seme and I really hated how he forgave the uke so fast and easily.
The seme is too submissive to the uke and is obviously a very insicure person and he said himself that he needed assurance, which the uke (who’s concerned about himself only) is evidently not capable to give.

At that point I really hoped they’d break up, since I felt a lot of anxiety reading the story after the accident.

I still liked the story concept and felt bad when it progressed in a way I didn’t appreciate at all.

This manhwa made me think a lot about life, about the dreams we have and don’t achieve and the “carpe diem” way of thinking, trying not to be concerned about the future and other people’s thoughts, even though the latter always end up becoming a great burden on our shoulders that has to be carefully handled.
The whole porn showbiz concept is so freaking good and that’s what makes the whole story so dramatic. I feel kinda guilty watching porn now, because this manhwa shows how porn actors are objectified and often treated like sh*t as they’re not even human beings. The awareness that this crap is much more real than what we think, even if we conceive it as far away from our reality, made me feel really bad and concerned about the matter. I’m still a teen and I have not experienced such situations in my life yet, but this manhwa made me more aware of what people arrive to do when they feel cornered and find themselves in odd and difficult situations and it gave me a very accurate portrait of the behaviour of a desperate human being. I hope in the future I’ll be able to make the most of the things I’ve learned from “Walk on water”.

This was so funny and cute and honestly I don’t get all the hate towards Chase, he was the one who made me laugh more than anyone and his love story with Jesse’s dad made the whole thing even more interesting and comedic af. I’m into age gaps stories so I fell in love with them since the very beginning.

I agree about Joel being a pretty sh*tty father, but being a parent is not an easy job and when Jesse’s born he was very young, inexperienced and angry. I think after the accident they both realised how much they cared about each other and started to work harder on their relationship.

I’m happy there aren’t any sex scenes because if there were I’d have to rate this manhwa with an even higher score than the one I already gave, which is five stars so...
