This story has left a huge impact on me. It depicts the real world with its hardships and bitterness.
Among with the graduation scene and YuYang’s father rejecting his siblings, the most melancholic and yet heartfelt scene was when this quote showed up: “We’ve already lost the enthusiasm that we had at the beginning of our relationship, but our love for each other hasn’t changed”.
The only thing that bothers me of this extremely satisfying manhua is the lack of informations about the HuanYuan couple: there’s a HUGE plot hole between Yuan realising his feelings and HuanYuan already being a couple. Even Uncle Pen and Qiu had their own complete scenery, why HuanYuan did not? (T—T)
P.S. I can’t stop listening to “Childhood Memory” (the song Li Huan and YuYang played in ch15) and crying.

I’m glad that Hiiragi realised his feelings for Shizu, I love them very much, but I still can’t get over how much I feel bad for Uenoyama. It’s surprising that he hasn’t shed any tears until now, even though he’s doing such a difficult yet great job and he’s dedicating himself so much to it. He’s so admirable and brave, in his place I would have cried my heart out. I want his efforts to be acknowledged by everyone, especially Mafuyu.
‘Childhood friends to lovers’ is my fav ship dynamic, but I don’t really like how Takeo accepted Wakou’s feelings out of curiosity. If things went bad he would definitely compromise their relationship. Moreover in the main story Takeo called Wakou after being indirectly rejected by Ao and I don’t want baby Wakou to be used as a rebound just because he couldn’t have another person.
I’m waiting for further developments (*cough* for drama *cough*) and I’m totally looking forward to see Takeo being jealous and the smut.

I loved how their relationship evolved in such a natural way: I really liked following their journey towards the acknowledgment of their own feelings for each other.
I actually felt like I was intruding in two real people’s lives, the author did a very good job in portraying a realistic relationship between two cute and naive high schoolers <3
