For all the people that were Saying the main character was wrong for not following his friend and weird for him to engage in a relationship with the main lead.I respect your opinion but I still disagree, It all sounds like a younger person's perspective. But I guess you live and you learn. when you gain more life experience I think you have a change of heart and change of views About relationships in general. Weather platonic or romantic or familial. You will figure out while friends are important some also don't stick around your whole life .There is a season and reason for everything. All friends are not good friends. Just to point out Why would he chase after him When he slapped his hand away told him to basically leave him alone and not to Follow him. What more of a sign that you should not engage with that person for the time being. Even if he wanted to it's a good thing the main lead stopped him because it could have been way worse. Side note Let's talk about It being weird and not right for MC to be with a friend's crush, so because MC isnt aware of anything about his friend having a crush on the main lead and has a relationship with ML they are both trash/weird . You wanna talk about weird...thinking that MC should know better When He doesn't know anything at all to act accordingly. What is also weird is to expect something from other people but the rules dont apply to you. MC tells friend everything about what's going on in his life but it seems friend(npc) doesnt reciprocate.he has not said anything he does not divulge anything to his so called friend. There are people in this world that play in your face act as your friend but in actuality you are just a pawn to be used. They have set up this main character to be gullible and very naive. The truest form of a cinnamon roll. Seemingly not astute in everyone's eyes. As a friend you think he would be there to tell him What it is and what it isnt but no he does nothing until he can benefit from it. At least the ML is telling him the truth be it in a blunt way the MC is able to try to better himself.
Sorry for the rant it just that It irked me that quite a few people had that opinion of this particular situation. I know its not that serious.
Nah you have mentioned very reasonable points here which many of has failed to understand, thanks for explaining the scenario this only clears things up that MC is quite naive and ML is the mature one who seems to understand the gravity of certain things.
I'm in the same boat as alot of you. Where I find Verite and Blanche to be a very cute thing. But then I start to think of how old is he really. And it also seems that my guess was right where he is the lost fairy prince( there are spoilers a few comments down). I don't know what the aging system is with fairies. Maybe I over thinking this. Its a fantasy genre so it is what it is.
Is the MC friend in the mirror the Fairy Prince that disappeared? It seems like they are hinting at that.
Also I feel like a lot of you guys are so used to generic and toxic ass stories. That when you read stories that have two people that are dealing with trauma and self esteem issues you feel like a relationship and the two (being lovey dovey)fuckin the problem away is the solution. Let the author tell their story. And let the main characters Find there way to each other. Obviously ML is working through his issues at a quicker rate than she is but let the damn story cook as well as the characters. Lastly it goes without saying but if you are so agitated and unhappy with the pace and the direction the story is going drop it and don't read. You are just wasting your time. I get that everyone is allowed to state their opinions on here but when you see the same thing being said with each chapter that is released it gets annoying and Repetitive.
Isn't it a common occurrence with people that are highly intelligent or just focus on studying and spending all their time and energy into there academics to lack common sense as well as communication skills. also be a bit socially Awkward. I can only speak for myself to say I have run across people like that. Obviously I am well aware that at times that can be because they fall somewhere on the Autism spectrum. I feel like that is the whole deal with this FL she might be highly intelligent but she is lacking in common sense and communication skills. To be fare she seems to want to work on it though.
Yo that duke is up to something! I even think he knows what that evil thing is up to. he is glancing at her!! I wouldn't put it pass that he been Laying up in bed and faking his illness a bit. For all we know he wasn't Unconscious at all! It could be all a damn test. While all his action have been crummy it had to be for a reason.
All the characters are freakin insane. This whole Scenario is crazy and nonsensical.....But I'm here for it. I think when you start reading manga and watching anime you throw all sense and logical thinking out the door for the most part. Some of this shit be so ridiculous but very entertaining.

I don't know how to articulate this Well but i will try. It's not that I feel sorry for her but what she said rang true to me About Himself seeking her out instead to get some answers.Not relying on what his father had to say at face value.Honestly she's a hypocrite as well because she did the same thing rely on what the father had to say at face value. Who's to know he may or may not have forgiven her anyway. Now that I think about it some more he was young so what was he supposed to believe other than what his father had to say. All I know is that This is the path he was supposed to take It was painful and there were definitely some bumps but it eventually lead him to his actual family.I'm just glad he came to The understanding what's important And the type of parent he wants to be.....Everything his parents weren't.
Appi is so precious! Nice start to this manga.I love the general aesthetics of each characters. Very expressive eyes. Can't wait to read more.

There isn't alot of traction in the comments section but I always stop by to read the latest update. I love this story so much! While it is a politically driven story. It is very women empowered, while that's isn't anything new I just find this endearing and charming. I love the evolution of the MC. I also love all the supporting characters that surround her.
