Yeah,I heard it too, maybe because of manga we need to see s ones and we realized our mains face reaction that time and we understood when he realized him. In novel readers can not see others face but imagination. So probably in novel he also react same way but because of our main lead didn't realize his face so he didn't realize his identity revealed that time. And so readers also..
