Is there a story where they actually divorce? I'm so sick of mcs forgiving trash guys who killed them ( ̄∇ ̄")

He didn't kill her, don't say it like he executed her or smth. Liking him is not the point I just don't like when facts are twisted

Again with emotions and fact twisting. It says he didn't care and left her alone not that he locked her up without access to servants and medicine. He is guity only of indiference and neglect - which is still horrible but less disgusting compared to other similar works (where fl is abused and actively tortured by ml).
I don't hate him because they were not beggers and he did not kick her out to strave to death. The problem is she needed him emotionally and he refused to give her his moral support which is actually why she was so broken and unwilling to continue.
That is what's truelly cruel and unforgivable here.

Yes, in this case that technically didn't happen, however the main point of my comment is that I just wanted to read a story where they actually divorce the guys who straight up abused or neglected them ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ especially if the title is something like: "I am going to divorce my trashy husband!" And then they just... don't

I agree that would be refreshing (✿^‿^)
It would be great to see a fl tht actually goes away to rediscover herself. Like in "I don't love you anymore" or "He is not just a pretty face".

I can only think of « Remarried Empress » and maybe « I will surrender the position as empress ». But both story aren’t isekai or second chance at life, so the character didn’t die before.

I actually quite like his character, however he did inadvertently kill her. It wasn't with his own hands like other stories, but he still purposefully neglected her KNOWING she needed emotional support, he went out of way to ignore her simply because he didn't find her interesting. So yes, he did kill her, just indirectly.

In all honesty... you are throwing "he killed her" like it is "hello" or smth. If you hear a argument next door and choose to ignore it because "oh, well, not my problem" and see a dead body of the wife/husband carried out in the morning. Is it okay to assume that you killed a person, though indirectly, because you deliberately chose to ignore the situation?!

    snakeheadxx November 24, 2024 12:32 pm

No, so far they don't divorce and it looks like they're not going to. The ML crashed out and she forgave him and blamed HERSELF. Forget divorce, it looks like he's not even gonna have a redemption arc or any character growth

I did not throw it around, I literally explained to you how he INADVERTENTLY killed her. I did not say he came in her room in the middle of the night and beat her to death. It was not as simple as him going "not my problem" to a stranger in distress, it was his WIFE, the one he chose to marry, and the one he intentionally neglected. Legally, you would not be held responsible for the death, however from a moral standpoint, yes it is safe to assume you are the cause of her death, or rather your neglect is the cause; it's all about context. And again, as I know you're already aware of these facts above, this was in no way me trynna demonize him because I don't like him, since I do (or did until recent chapters) like his character, I'm simply stating his moral crimes

I still belive that while repremanding me for misreading the context you forgot that they are NOT a modern day couple married for love or what not. She was given to him by her family like a sacrifice. He didn't chase after her swearing eternal love or promicing to cherish her till his dying day. You demand fulfillment of obligations that did not exist: it was a political marrige first and formost. Robelia was fully aware of that as well. The point is that she still hoped for love that was not there and that nobody promised her. Her family made her into a needy broken person with super-fragile mentality. That is why she feels the refusal from Alex like the end of the world and refuses to go on, finally dying.
And yet everything is somehow his fault? I mean he did ignore her becoming the final straw but there are people far more responsible for her death.

I didn't forget it was a political marriage, but even if he had no obligations towards her as a husband, he didn't treat her as a human either. While I understand your point and you may even be correct from a moral standpoint as well, I still believe that because his indifference was her last straw, it was the final cause for her death. Your point that her family life is what did most of the damage is a good point and I forgot to consider that factor cuz I haven't read this story in a minute, I believe there can be more than one culprit/cause in a suicide case, he wasn't entirely at fault and I wouldn't try to blame him all on his own since he didn't pull the trigger
