There is probably more to story but chapter 0 rubbed me bad. Haha, I was upset that she was lying to him and never told him about his face. He looked so inferior and down.
I think all korean manga rubs me bad in that way, 'he is so handsome so I can't divorce him'.. like seriously it is just that? What about his personality, his nature, his hobbies, his talent? Your companionship as husband and wife, as friends? Are looks that important?
Anyways later the childhood chapters didn't look that way, instead quite promising so I will continue.
Same! I really thought she's going to make him realize that he's not scary and actually a good looking man. She should help him built some confidence not to cage him. It hurts how he feel bad because everyone is badmouthing his wife because of him and she did not even clear the misunderstanding, she just left. Maybe the face reveal might happen in the future chapter to make the story long.
Spoilers ahead
So I've seen a comment saying (if I remember correctly) that the boy is cursed and he appear as hideous to others and himself when in reality he isn't. She will find some item or sth like that which will make her see his real appearance later. So if that's true then there seem to be more to this story than "I only like him bcuz he's handsome"
I am happy for her being in novel/game but at the same time the timeline of real world continues. I know she doesn't get along with her brother but it seems he really cares. And that whole thing is kinda bothering me. Stopping one timeline would have been better.
It's cute and funny tho how she climbed curtains
I think I understand her why she did that, and it isn't entirely wrong. We as viewers know that Crown prince likes may be loves her, and not that b**. But FL doesn't know that, she is always compared with her. I believe it might be troubling her that her feelings for Crown Prince are growing but she can't get those feeling back because apparently Crown Prince is supposed to love that other b**.
I think she is having trouble keeping balance of her feeling so she is probably running away. I very well understand that 'I don't feel like dancing' to suddenly feeling other wise in different setting.
In short she is conflicted, and that's why her behavior is like that. Maybe she is insecure too, because she has been trying so hard but she is still being compared to someone who is already favored by queen and Crown prince.
I dont blame her for saying no because he's not making his feelings clear. It seems like he's two-timing so i was happy when she said no, because he needed that. But then she's in a ball, she's the Regina, there are already rumors about her liking the other prince. Its too problematic and insensitive of her to say yes to that dance. The gossips and other Regina will definitely use it against her and she will start losing the crown prince trust(although i think he deserves it and maybe he'll be real for once)
Yeah I do agree, but unlike most of manga FL she is being human for once. I think her making mistake once makes her more relatable. Other are just way too perfect that sometimes it feel - how convenient, everything works their way!!
What you pointed out, that issue stands but still I loved this chapter. It pointed out her inner struggles quite well. As Regina, she made an error. But again it would be fun seeing her resolve it.
About Crown Prince- yup agreed!
I feel like they are rushing the plot. Everything is fast paced and feels like summary rather than a story. The boat, him breaking with that b*, and confession - these all could have been major plot. I don't know if it is because of bad translation but it seems like it is plot is going down.
I get what you mean! But it's also like, it took them literally 111 chapters to get to this stage, and they're not even dating!
