After a 10 year engagement, Neveah Solène (futur Hermione Bertrand) brakes her engagement to the Duke (Valer Eustache Thierry), for who she had a one sided love. He failed expressing his love. He had mixed feelings about her. He progressively realises that he neglected her, and starts regretting it, but she will not be waiting for him to realise his mistakes, and she decides to marry the emperor (Joachim Aren Vinfried) of the neighboring country. She promises never to love him, but he's so kind, it"s hard. Of course, he realises his own feelings are growing for her, especially triggered by him earsdropping on conversations between her and her ex the Duke. Neveah's sister, Rubiel, decides to revenge her sister by punishing their father by making him feel the abandonment feelings that he inflicted on Neveah. She does this by asking the emperor's guard to protect her while she travels hidden in her sister's transport headding to the new country.
