Thing is he kept wanting to believe otherwise, it was clearly hinted he refuse the doubt because he knows if he doubt ml it's going to hurt him but ig finally he can't run away from truth
Mc is not dumb, he is lonely and empty. Mc is just ignoring all the signs to feel that even someone like him can be loved and treasured. He is deluding himself to believe in all of ml's lies but alas the harsh truth can't be hidden or ignored forever.

off topic but im really struggling to find this manhwa i read awhile ago. basically the seme meets the uke again and after awhile they start dating but the uke is insecure abt their relationship because the seme has a habit of finding people boring after awhile and leaving them, but the seme is serious abt him and so he takes him to his grandpas house and makes him live there, also before all this they went to highschool together but stopped being friends cuz seme was jealous he e was close to someone else
