That whole conversation is summarizing how they both are pairs and found each other not because of pheromones or fated pair. It's simply because they love each other.

Anyway idk if you know this, but omega is likely to get pregnant when the alpha is in heat/rut too and they both have sex.Them having a kid together is the biggest indication that they're paired.

To each of our own understanding. But I take it the last chapter that they finally paired which make a whole lot of sense for Kaede's speech with extra of their family coming after that. But we both could agree that we're happy they get their happy ending.
