I just finished the novel so what happenes next is Chay doesn't just leave and decided that it is worth to pursue Keaton. He went to Bit's door and wanted to talk it out. They did and things are good. At least on the level that they have both decided to give it a shot despite what the others think. Not sure but it might have involved some sexy time there. Can't really recall the exact scene. :D
