So what I understand about this story based on the present chapters..
1. Her father distanced himself to her because he doesn't want her to be used and get hurt because of him. He sacrificed their relationship with each other even though he loves her very much.
2. Her father decided to take her to the shadow cell and give her a sword to protect herself while he's preparing to dethroned the emperor.
3. Her father make the crown prince go to the shadow cell because the only allowed there is the Royals. In excuse that he will torture the one who poison his sister so the guards will leave them alone. But the truth is, he will try to save her.
But.. she misunderstood everything because she's been kept in shadows about everything that's happening. She gets tired and decided to end her suffering.
