I'm going reply to this as someone who is in a d/s relationship because I want to be sure yall are being safe. The best way is to get involved with your local kink community. Tour your local dungeon and start going to educational events and munches. You want to be involved with the community first because this make vetting and background checking a dom much easier. Also if you're talking to a dom and they won't give you a list of past subs for you to check with then that's a red flag. This is just the most basic info so please educate yourselves at kink/dungeon events (not playtime events but learning events) or by talking to experienced subs in your community.
