I enjoyed this story, and really appreciated the fact that the uke became a little twisted at the end and reminded the seme of how much pain he caused by leaving him for a woman. However, I was more sad than happy with the ending--not because it wasn't good! But, because they died! I like to pretend that couples in stories live on forever together, in love, and live happily-ever-after for eternity. No death. So sad when they die...

It was sad and beautiful, but! It still ended happily because in the end they are together forever in heaven. If you look closely, the book Akira is reading at the end is "Top 100 Date Spots in Heaven" :)

Okay, I'm still a little disappointment. I had wished that Kei had begged for Shingo's forgiveness. I love that they are back together, but I hate that Shingo is the one who 'got down on his knees', so to speak.

ya, i want kei to beg and not shingo...Shingo is not in any wrong, so why is he begging for kei not to abandon him!! Moreover, kei's action is the cause of shingo's insecurities toward their relationship...all the more for kei to seek shingo's forgiveness.
I love the omega's expression when he realized his alpha was the new owner, and how he'd be spending every waking minute with him. Loving someone is knowing when to back off and giving your loved one some space ;p
