Who didn’t get the hype with this manga. It’s not that I hate it, it just made me...scratch my head?? The characters aren’t likable, I’m sorry to say. The uke is too desperate that I’m suffering from secondhand embarrassment for him. The seme is too brash and arrogant, yeah he’s hot and all, but man, can you be a little more honest with your feelings, geez. The uke’s brother is no better either. If I could, I would’ve teleported myself into the story and slapped these three with a newspaper on the head (I guess that’s just it, we can’t be too cruel lol). This is even worse than the Kuroneko Kareshi series, but at least in that series, only Keiichi is the annoying one. The art for this manga is definitely at par with sensei’s other works, but the story? Meh. This old woman is not impressed.
So much that I didn’t notice the art quality of the recent chapters. But tbh that 50% off Hen is super slimy and I don’t like it. While I usually gravitate towards cold, stoic characters (Lan Wang Ji wooohoo!), Alek is, as Hen said, a robot. He may change someday, but he needs to have his own partner and stop chasing after Hen. But I don’t like that Discounted Hen for him tbh.
I’ve been ignoring this one since the art is not to my liking (I’m not saying it’s bad though), and now I’m regretting it a bit. This is awesome! I really like the story and the characters. But the one thing I really like the most is that apart from some scenes where Yohan has to lip read, most of the time he is treated like a “normal” person, and that is really good. Some manga/manhwa that deals with characters with disabilities tend to focus too much on the disability itself. While that is ok, I prefer the approach on this manhwa instead. I hope this doesn’t end yet, I’m really having fun reading this. I’m so excited to see what Yohan had written, and it cracks me up that only Jinhye understands his handwriting. And oh, Jinhye reminds me so much of Prichit from Yuri on Ice xD
Seriously, that boy is scrawny, and yet he still fights back. Good for you. So glad to see this, it’s been ages since I’ve read, sensei’s works. She(?) draws manga with twisted characters that really look like men. The sex scenes are raw, and it’s not your usual sexy, erotic types, yet you feel the characters’ chemistry. With this mangaka, I wouldn’t be surprised if Maa-kun ends up in prison, so I hope he won’t be stuck there for too long in case that really happens.
