This is one of the fluffiest, most wholesome, most romantic manga I’ve read, and definitely one of my absolute faves! They just complement each other beautifully, and there’s no drama. Ayumu is so sweet, and Toujo is equal parts dorky and sexy. Plus, their co-workers are shipping them too! My only complaint is there is not enough sex scenes. I can’t get enough of these two! Grrrrr! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
1) I can’t wait for the sequel to be translated!
2) Yori is such a nice character. He truly shines in the manga. As the uke, he knows what he wants, he shows his feelings clearly to Mikura-san, and he’s aggresive in pursuing his love. He is not your usual uke who always say “nooOoOo” during sex scenes, he relishes every moment of it. I just wish there would be more sex scenes in the sequel..
3) Regarding his job as an idol, we are seeing this story with rose-colored glasses, but irl being a public figure is much more stressful than this (I’m not into idol groups, but I’ve read some news about exploitation and unfair labor practices). Still, it’s refreshing to see idol members genuinely having fun and enjoying each other’s company while doing their job.
4) Hopefully this can be turned into an anime in the future
Seriously. Both characters are so mature, they feel so real for me. The sex scenes are raw, and yet too sweet and intimate. Words can’t explain how much I love this manga. Dammit, this mangaka has a very amazing way of portraying her characters that you can’t help but sympathize with them and wish for their happiness. I also love the fact that most of her characters are working adults, and it panders (maybe not the right word, but let’s leave it at that) to her older audience. While I like high school romances, since I’m already old, I’d rather read manga with characters that are in their 30s and older, dealing with real-life adult problems while working their way to get a happy ending in their love life. This manga hit those feels juuust right. It’s such a joy, that I re-read this every now and then
(≧∀≦) and the fact that sensei confirmed that the older guy is the uke is just ლ(´ڡ`ლ) I had read this one before but I had to read it again so I can give it 5 stars and proclaim to the world how much I love this manga. Geeeeez. The pacing is just right, I love the supportive daughter, and these two dorks’ interactions are just too cute and realistic. Too bad we didn’t see them have sex, but I love it anyways. This definitely will be included in the list of my absolute favorite BL manga of all time
1) The art was, well, very 90s. Lol. 2) It has a promising story, I would like to think that Rei actually studied so he can cure Miya’s disease, that’s true love right there. Just ignore how it was done, but you can definitely feel how much he loves Miya and he’s willing to sacrifice eveything for him. 3) Now the problem is, the pacing was pretty bad. I like the idea that we are clueless, just like Miya, at the start of the story. But the revelations were all too sudden and Rei is dropping bombs here and there all at once, and this old woman can’t keep up lol.
While I was breezing through the smut, all I’m thinking is “is this supernatural, or a case of stalker, taken into extreme levels?” Seriously xD I was much more interested in knowing who is behind this app ( ̄∇ ̄") I will have to continue reading this. No matter what the ending is, hopefully the author wraps it up nicely. It would suck so bad that we have an intriguing plot, only for the ending to fail so spectacularly (I’m looking at you, A Paramour!!)
Agree, I’m really afraid it will just end without much of an explanation. I mean it’s probably supernatural judging by how the app can answer to their thoughts but yeah. I really hope it’ll be a clear and interesting answer! I also read this bc I love the characters but to me this part is of the plot is so important!
I’m not particularly iffy about them being step brothers, but the pacing is a bit off. The older brother resolved his feelings too quickly, and the younger brother is brash, fulfilling that stereotypical seme type. I’m much more particular with the flow of the story than the characters, and I’m not really satisfied with this one. It could’ve been better :(
