i personally say no, because the second his memories return he might just go back to his previous behavior. Though now that he has some good memories that could be changed… I still think at the end of the day with your memories wiped clean you tend to be more passive, but if he would retain the trauma and memories he’d be more aggressive— which doesn’t exactly make for a health relationship. And that would lowk ruin the story because it’d be justifying his actions and basically create a stockholm syndrome-like relationship between the two.
