hey this is gonna be a really bad summary but I'll try my best.
so elliot (gray hair guy) is super smart and stuff and he lives in the future. he gets caught in a time machine his teacher is making and goes to 2008. he meets his teacher of the past and tells her what happened and she tries to create the time machine for him to go back. he ends up going to school and he meets this other dude named christian (black haired guy) and joins their club band thing because he's good looking and will attract people I guess. elliot and christian get closer and elliot clearly starts to develop feelings (and probably christian too, but it's 2008 in korea so this type of stuff was pretty yikes). elliot tells christian about his feelings towards him, not exactly that he likes him but he feels emotional towards him.
christian is a little freaked out about it because theyre friends and he avoids elliot at school. he doesnt really know what to do about what elliot said. they don't speak for a while and elliot's teacher finishes the time machine and he goes back to the future. christian did plan on apologizing to elliot and working things out right before elliot when back to the future but it doesnt happen. and now we're back in the future for s2.
also! try reading from ch23!! that's when he says his feelings and they start to distance themselves :> that'll give you a better understanding of elliot's emotions.
