i had a dream once where Izark and noriko were able to return to japan because noriko was pregnant. The unstable power of the unborn child brought noriko over and izark quickly followed behind in the crack noriko left between the two worlds before it closed back up. This translated into a earthquake in our world. Rescuers were surprised to find pregnant and unconscious noriko being carried by a highly distressed foreign speaking guy in weird clothes coming out of a temple that had been felled by the earthquake. With noriko unconscious in the hospital, and izark with no identification papers or any grasp of the language without his psychic link to noriko, Izark was at a complete loss at what to do.
Then the dream got weird and the nurses turned into giant talking rabbits and stuff. Still, i think that would be a great way to continue the story. I often high five my subconscious for that one.
That sounds awesome except for the ending I would read that if it was a fanfiction:)
Awesome idea...you should consider writing fanfic or maybe a dj..with lots of chapters?Hope for a different ending though..I really felt this manga ended too soon
Kogoro-chan drinks, smokes, gambles, and flirts with pretty young things. Which is why his marriage broke up despite a long history between him and Eri and lingering affections.
Shinichi is never there, physically as in being Conan, and mentally as in he's always on some sort of case. Even after becoming Shinichi again, i suspect he'll still never be there, as in if the Tokyo police don't snatch him up, the FBI or CIA or Interpol will. I have a feeling Ran will always feel alone as he focuses his attentions on the problems of the world and it's dark underbelly.
So which is worse?
A man full of Vices or a man full of Justice?
So hetalia was written by someone who'd gone to parsons. kinda weird to think about it. I mean so often there's ridiculous errors about foreign countries in manga and you think, "man if they just spent a month there, or even just a couple of weeks, they wouldn't screw that up." But you don't actually think about the mangaka who actually travel or study abroad.
she obviously didn't like him. She kinda thought he was attractive, but then he lied to her and literally tried to keep her captive through emotional manipulation and by taking her passport. Not to mention the financial coercion he employed to get her attention in the first place. UGH UGH UGH In the end it felt like the only reason she married him was half because she was jealous of Simone and half because she had taken a gigantic blow to the head. Love? what's that?
Yeah, it didn't seem real and felt very forced. The romance and their relationship wasn't portrayed well at all.
I really like the girl but hated the guy. He forced himself into her life because of her looks similar to his ex. Eww... If his grandmother wasn't alive, she wouldn't agree to the marriage... *sigh*
I think all three of you have hit the nail right on the head. The ML lied to her over and over, and his word was only good as long as it didn't impinge on anything he wanted. Loving your grandmother is a good thing, but it doesn't make someone a good person. Even a gangster or child molester can love their grandma. Manipulating and lying to someone to achieve your aim is no different than gaslighting them. To say you did it for grandma is no excuse whatsoever. Either the gigantic blow to the head Rose mentioned, or a huge case of Stockholm Syndrome is the only way she could have believed she was in love with him. Who knows when he'll feel the need to lock her up again while lying to her.
