i can't tell if it's the translation or entirely intentional, but it's interesting how you (or me) can read eugene thinking about hamel as an entirely different person. first solidly noticed this when he got to the desert; there's a clear separation between him and his past self. he only ever uses "I" when he reminisces abt his friendship w the gang. I find it interesting, since most if not all mcs i meet think and refer to their present and past selves entirely as one person.
quality drops at around 115~ ish tho. please tell me it goes back up
