Distance yourself & Block him, I know you feel bad about ghosting (I did too) but you should cut him off - being too nice in these situations will just put a strain on yourself, I was in similar situations and now that I'm the older one I can tell you it is honestly weird & creepy how these people behave.
You'll find better people to befriend. ......
