Ngl, I'm kinda digging this.
Even though the romance progression is slower than a 95 year old grandma crossing the pedestrian-- I just find this whole friendship-banter adorable and wholesome that I really didn't mind the slow burn rather than the usual BL where day one they have segs trope.
Reminds me of the old MMO days and a cute good old enemies to FRIENDS to lovers progression.
The irony of people justifying their sense of "morals" by telling other to "off" themselves OVER OTHER PEOPLE LIKING SOME SORT OF FICTION is so appaling that I kinda wished the comments remained broken. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I haven't really read the novel so idk, but given the spoilers...
It's likely that "Black" is a bad end, like, it's a sign that the target is obsessed (I'm still kinda sad Eclise went down that route since he's had a hard life).
While red probably leans on romantic/genuine love, so the low rating for Calisto would actually make sense given how guarded and unfamiliar he is with the like.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking things and it's actually just their designated themed colors lol ( ̄∇ ̄")
I don't mind the seme. Typical teasing your onesided crush kinda thing.
Ngl tho, I can't find myself to like the uke. He's so wishy-washy? Like telling the dood he hates him, want nothing to do with him and then runs back to him with the most trivial things that I can't really grasp what his deal is.
Uke hates seme 'cuz he "bullied" him, but he hangs out with him and suddenly fall in love out of nowhere. Then goes back full cycle: hate him 'cuz he didn't like the confession but now he's agreeing to a date-- like. Be fr, which is it?
Uke just seems... All over the place.
But then they all talk like HIPPIES 'cuz of the translation, I barely understood shit, laughing and cringing bcs this is so hilariously bad and unserious im-- lmfaoo
Am I the only one who thought the pacing was fine?
Like to me it was easy to understand and very simple. Maybe I'm just too shallow or my standards of pacing has been messed up by the hundreds of BL I've already read? Lol(/TДT)/
It's good that Lua finally gets closure and that the line is properly drawn.
Garrett is also well aware that Lua wants nothing more from him other than his apology and will simply continue to start from scratch on his knighthood-- so I doubt there's going to be a love traingle since it does seem that a clear line has already been drawn that both parties do not wish to pursue any kind of relationship (even frienship).
Though, forbodingly, he might appear in the future, it feels like it would be more on to help Lua take the church and the Ari bitch down, rather than incite a romantic conflict.
Instead of the Drama tag, it should be Comedy because every single thing about this is a circus. ( ̄∇ ̄")
Helena should also just go to the real world with Eris and they can be besties there.
Let the Prince die alone and ugly.
This plot twist was actually refreshing.
At some point, the plot just went all over thr place and I was expecting for the impostor to tamper with the paternity results with how everything was going...
So it was actually a surprise they off-ed* her just like that and suddenly showed the probable main villain (atp, I dunno who tf are the villains and enemies are). ( ̄▽ ̄)
While the plot isn't anything new, I seriously love this FL and ML combi. They're what sets it apart from all these loveless marriage, spouse is an asshole genre.
Especially the FL, like I've read a ton of "badass FL" fantasy stuff with similar plot only for the FL to be a dumb fucking damsel in distress.
At least this FL ain't a pushover for real and gives the asswhooping herself. FL is smart, ML is smart and respects FL. It's a breath of fresh air rly on these stereotypical genres.
Bro wat in thee gwak is happening-- she became a magical girl idol then there's a monster attacking her and were almost 200 chapters in and she's still a kid.
Woman, why the hell are you so hell bent on making your son live a MISERABLE life like YOU? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Ngl, I think the daughter actually ran away and eloped with a barbarian instead of being "kidnapped", like how was she able to stay out of head Baskerville's radar for so long? She could have tried running away or dropped hints for her family to find her.
Or maybe she fell in love along the way (some Stockholn shit), but I really think she willingly went with them to get away from her family.
Finally I can put this on "Already Read" status and never touch it again. ( ̄皿 ̄)
Thank you, Translator, for collectively making hundreds of people mald (lol).
Her fangirling is so adorable. A story of her own with her fave would be so adorable. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
So you blame the wife of your son because he can't control your fucking asshole son? Wow, just, wow.
I guess being an asshat just runs in the family, huh?
