I haven't really read the novel so idk, but given the spoilers...
It's likely that "Black" is a bad end, like, it's a sign that the target is obsessed (I'm still kinda sad Eclise went down that route since he's had a hard life).
While red probably leans on romantic/genuine love, so the low rating for Calisto would actually make sense given how guarded and unfamiliar he is with the like.
Or maybe I'm just overthinking things and it's actually just their designated themed colors lol (￣∇￣")
