What's with the Duke hate--??
Yes, he was rude at first on FL, but justifiably so because OG owner of the body literally STALKS HIM, PHYSICALLY AND VERBALLY HARASS PEOPLE AROUND HIM, AND DO DRUGS & ACTUALLY TRIED TO KILL PEOPLE, like, hello of course he hates her????
They're not even in a relationship to begin with to warrant the "oh he ends up with her shitty ex" trope.

This started out so good, art, premise, plot-- but ngl I found little to no character development to each and every character here. Camellia pretty much stayed a damsel in distress her whole life, being a doormat to each and every character, including the ML.
The art regressed SO MUCH, and the story feels like it just can't wait to end itself at this point. Don't get me wrong-- I don't hate the manwa, it just went downwards for something that could have potentially been an absolute masterpiece, so it's pretty disappointing.
The Prince and Princess are absolute gems tho, especially Princess Rosina. The only likeable characters in this whole fiasco if you ask me.

I get why people are sus of him since he practically have the same rapport with Rimuru as to how he and Yuki met-- however, the reason why I trust him more is because of the kinship he has with Rimuru.
In a way, both of them got stuck on a position they really didn't ask for (like how Rimuru wasn't really on board with the leadership and all and was expecting Treyni to do it), but just got on with it because they don't wanna disappoint the people that support them. This gives me a vibe that they really care for the people around them and just genuinely want to make positive connections.
Call them doormat if you will lol, the good and wholesome kind. /jk
It's like, cuz he cant deal with Camellia's mental battles he just dumped them on his mother.
Might as well make the mother the ML because it seems she's gonna help and treat Camellia better than all of these bozos combined.
