Can someone bring me up to speed with this story? I last read it back when it had its long hiatus. I can see that Jooin is still doing his usual bullshit with yahwi despite many chapters of him being pissed and him having his emotional smack down with Yahwi. Which seems like it was unsuccessful and fell apart somewhere

yahwi is endgame. Basically jooin leaves yahwi - he has massive character development- and tells cain he’s better of without him and so he’s single for like 6 years then meets yahwi by chance and they end up together
Returning exactly to square one isn't called character development. At least not in this universe.
Yeah LOL leaving an abusive relationship for 6 years only to return is the absolute lack of character development. That sucks though. I had hopes that Jooin might get with Cain or leave both of them for his own well-being.

Yahwi DID have character development?? he realised his actions, left jooin alone for 6 years even tho he always loved him and met him again by chance, non stop apologised to him and changed his ways. I still don’t believe they should’ve been endgame but he did have development.
Sure, the guy who just told the guy he used to rape that he went soft because he saw condoms in his drawer and called the fat stray cat with a plump ass just like him is certainly a "massive character development".

Oh my god that's so him. I completely agree with you here. Leaving a guy you harassed/bullied and sexually assaulted for 6 years is not a "charitable" or "loving" act. You don't rape or assault someone you love, especially deliberately. I think the excuse of "i love him so much but I must leave him :'(" is lazy storytelling because it does nothing but make you roll your eyes and pity his character. Mfer should've just left permanently out of guilt alone, or idk apologized immediately(either of which would've actually been character development!!!)instead of waiting a 6 years just to kiss Jooin's boots and slither his way back into Jooins life. Anyway I'm rambling.
