erm so the ml catches the mc and his childhood friend hugging and mc talking about plans about leaving once ml gets married as we just read. In the next chapter he throws a tantrum and the mc gets called by the butlers to help and see whats wrong and the ml smashes the mcs hand onto broken glass and steps on it harder and harder whilst the mc is crying and faints. Mc wakes up with his hand bandaged and goes back to sleep
People in the comments are taking the fcking piss. How is the mc cheating when bro was getting sexually assaulted I know damn well you wouldn’t say that if a girl was in this situation. “oh but he was cheating” DO YOU NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF WHAT CHEATING IS? you lot saying he was cheating are clearly uneducated and fucking assholes, how is that all you care about when bro was literally MOLESTED and ASSAULTED??? oh and “but he admitted to cheating” FUCKING READDDDD HE SAID THAT HE DIDNT WANT THIS
lowkey can ya’ll shut up abt the ml? I feel like the haters been dick riding the guy more than the fans, like he was not THAT bad for you to be mentioning him every chapter update like bye
Lol the other world also fkd him over to be paranoid af. This whole series is like a lesson on how fkd up people fk up other people's lives. At least they get a second life to figure sht up.
Im over here laughing my ass off when people do shit like that cause I'd burn it all. Fl is kinda weak in my eyes cause I would of killed the very thought of being together again in his head ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ dont blame the ml for trying but fl evidently still wants him
im honestly so conflicted, what does her being a neglected child have anything to do with their relationship??? i mean i get her homophobia might come from the traditional values shared amongst the elderly but whys her reasoning so shit they shouldve just used the fact that the ml has shitty taste for love and bye
my culture shock is calling the guy youve fucked brother let alone had a crush on since childhood what
That also doesn't sit right with me
I have read enough korean manga/manhwa to know the meaning of hyung/oppa/noona/unie and I know the origins of it BUT still is so freaking weird call your romantic interest the same why you call your siblings
Remember that this is also a fantasy setting where brother/sister is a peer status more than an actual blood relation. Think of it as brothers in arms or blood brothers (which are people that made a pact with blood to bond them together) its thimgs we have always had before in our history as well not just fantasy.
Also yeah, in non western media calling each other brother/sister/aunty etcc is more of a peer thing than an actual family thing
What do you mean? That's the best part hehehe
Isn't your pfp a kpop idol?
Just 'cause someone from a different culture/ethnicity/race uses their own language in a different way than you use yours doesn't mean you get to take potshots at it.
To them it's like calling someone bestie or addressing someone you respect by a certain title. It's just to show how close they are to someone rather than blood ties.
He called him Hyung. It doesn’t literally mean brother, it’s a name for a close older male (but not too much older) as well as meaning brother when used between siblings.
it’s pretty normal in other countries, i’m chinese and ppl can use gege or jiejie which translates to brother and sister but its not strictly used for siblings, it can be used for people you’re close to or are flirting with
are you illiterate? or are you just trying to be quirky lol
dw i love this manhwa i caught up on the novel its so good
you’re taking this so far, its never that deep and nobody was wasn’t disrespecting titles lol in south asia we do it too, but we don’t continue after a certain action, at least where I live and its not to show how close they are its a form of respect towards the elderly, so who in their right minds gonna call an elderly bestie???
I do understand that but I am learning Korean right now for work (I am a translator by the way) and my boss is currently Korean and for what I see you actually call family members that way BUT there is a cultural reason why this term is not use only for blood related siblings that basically starts in China is very long in history I do understand and respect I just find a little weird ... no in a mean way is just different from what I am used to ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I totally didn't mean it in a mean way is just different I work directly with Koreans, have Koreans fans and I am a kpop fan since I was 12 I did not mean to make fun of their culture I literally just wanted to say that I find it different but maybe I choose the wrong words
(And I did notice that I sound like "I no homophonic I have gay friends" but Idk how should I say ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Thats valid! I just wanted tp say that having close almost famial bonds that develop into romance is something that used to happen commonly all over the world (⌒▽⌒)
I was supposed to be korean friends (they are more close to haters then fans)
