is it my favorite story ever? no. but it is much better than most of the stories in this genre. its good for when i have free time and want to read something easy.
the MC really reminds me of jiang cheng. is that just me? like, her sibling didn;t listen to her and was partially the reason why her family dies and her home burned down. She thought she was abandoned, but it turns out her sibling sacrificed her power to save her. even though she knows that the super powerful evil guy would have come after them anyways, she cant help but blame her sister for the distruction of the family. and now the purple lotus motif.......

It’s not just about that I kind of get what the authors trying to do. It is partly clearly about her luxe, but if you think more deeply about it, it’s more on the cast system that they have in that time. That was the old look so you’re faring to an old aristocratic Format that just doesn’t work and mostly because they’re literal nobility so they need to follow the trends very closely.
