I don't think that Jinhyun is gonne end up with his past wifey. He's been showing signs of liking Haemi for a long time. Also let's give an F for respects because Haemi has gotta have a very hard time dealing with the family drama.
Y'all being shocked about Sangmin is a sign you didn't look closely enough. First off, even though he was low key adorable in high school does anyone remember how he strangled his pets and how he bullied people so badly they wanted to commit suicide? Also his family has treated him really bad for his entire life I think that'd cause more than a few inferiority issues no?

This is not actually a bdsm relationship as far as I'm concerned. There is no use of contract, violence is used outside of play and not to mention the seme isn't even an actual sadist! This stort is not a bad representation of BDSM, just a mislabelling (if you consider the application and psychology don't actually equate to healthy, or even real, BDSM in the story)

It's just in the tags. Overall usage of blanket terms for me personally means that there is a larger chance for a person to misunderstand something because there is lack of preciseness in what something is (that's how occasionally abusive situations might be mistaken for BDSM). I don't necessarily think this story has much to do with representing the community (which is a whole other kettle of fish) but is does have something to do with representing a relationship dynamic which is being mislabelled as BDSM. Not that I hate the story but it is a bit problematic for me.

BDSM that is practised in a healthy manner is consentual through the use of a contact and safe words to ensure that the relationship of the dom and sub do not have an unbalanced power dynamic. The use of the contract and safe words ensure that boundaries are not overstepped when the dom and sub do 'play'. Play is when a sexual scenario is carried out by the dom and sub which usually involves some form of kink or fetish (it should noted that sometimes play of a non-sexual variety is also practised and those forms of play can be researched at your own discretion). In other words, fiction can be a dubious reference for BDSM because it usually does not deal with the technicalities of negotiation and use of safe words (which are important for consent) may not be used in order to ensure better flow of a scene. This is a very light description and I reccomend looking into this topic further if you want to have a more in depth understanding.

Do I need to read the novel to understand? The past few chapters have been saying that this guy is homosexual and can't be with a woman because of that. However that kiss on stage has really confused me and I'm not sure what to make of it. Can anyone explain?

I read the translation but was still left confused. This girl was painted out to have an understanding that the dude can't have a straight relationship, and the dude was painted out to have come to facts that he can't have a straight relationship. I think this pulled a complete 180 on us so I wasn't able to understand the translation clearly.

So basically, what happened was: After Ono told Andou to "take responsibility", the crowd went into a frenzy, and started pushing him towards the stage to "take responsibility" in whatever way. At that point, Andou felt as if he were backed into a corner. He realized that he wasn't really left with a choice, and that he had to give the crowd what they wanted. When he got onstage, Miura told him to kiss her. When he hesitated, she indicated that it was what the crowd expected, and that it was a simple solution. At that point, Andou basically went "fuck it" and gave in to pressure and kissed her. He didn't do any of that because he wanted to, he did it because he felt like he had to. As for Miura, even though she understands that Andou can't ever be attracted to women, she still likes him. Because of that, she selfishly continues their relationship (which Andou doesn't oppose, but it's not clear why. I think the novel would do a better job of explaining that) and asks him to kiss her on stage.
I want Chang Le to do an impression of me next
